Clarification Text for Forum Participants under the Law on No. 6698 Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (“PDPL”)

As the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, we need some personal data of you who applies as participants for the NEXT by TRT World Forum and TRT World Forum programs (“Forum”).

We process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). In this context, we ask you;

• Your identity Information (first name, last name, date of birth, gender, passport information); in order to confirm your identity and evaluate your application,

• Your Contact Information (phone, e-mail); in order to communicate with you,

• Your Social Media Accounts Usernames (Twitter, Instragram etc. if needed); in order to evaluate your application,

• Your Professional Experience Information (school, title, CV(biography )); in order to evaluate your application,

• Your Audio and Visual Recordings (Recordings, photos, videos, etc. uploaded during the application and obtained by shooting during the Forum); in order to confirm your identity; evaluate your application; promote the Forum on TV, internet, digital channels and all kinds of social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter of TRT,

• Your health information (Disability information); in order to provide a convenient environment for you during the Forum,

We process your personal data communicated by yourself through recording devices and the site automatically and partially automatically within the scope of the data processing conditions  “Processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”, “Processing of personal data of the parties of a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract” and “The presence of explicit consent” stipulated under the Law No. 6698 Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (“PDPL”).

I have read and understood the “Clarification Text for Forum Participants” prepared regarding the processed personal data of those who applies as participants for the Forum to be held within the scope of NEXT by TRT World Forum and TRT World Forum programs.

In this context; I accept and undertake that my personal data in the data categories of Social Media Accounts Usernames, Professional Experience Information, Audio and Visual Recordings, health information (Disability status information) will be used by TRT for the purposes of;

• Evaluation of the application

• Confirmation of identity information,

• TV, internet and Instagram, Twitter etc. of the Forum to be held. Promotion and promotion through all kinds of social media platforms
