ABOUT
Seyifunmi Adebote is one of Nigeria’s foremost environmentalists. Over the last 8 years, he has actively worked across national, regional and international scopes to advance climate action advocacies, youth mobilisation, environmental policies and communication strategies.
In 2019, he was part of the UN youth group that put together the first-ever youth climate summit. As a delegate to the UN, he has represented Nigeria at several international forums including the UN’s General Assembly. Currently studying Environmental Communication and Management at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science, Seyi continues to host the Climate Talk Podcast which simplifies and communicates Climate Change to over 10000 listeners and inspires many others to take Climate Action. He invests in, and co-founds many climate-smart businesses and works with other environmentalists and development experts to strengthen youth inclusiveness in climate negotiations globally.
