ABOUT
Nisreen Elsaim is an environmental and climate activist who started activism in 2012. She has a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Khartoum and pursued her master’s degree in renewable energy. She is the Chair of the Sudan Youth Organization on Climate Change (SYOCC), which is a youth-led organization. Nisreen is also a junior negotiator with the African Group of Negotiators in technology transfer. She focuses on the policies of countries regarding climate change and renewable energies. She wrote several policy papers on climate change, renewable energy, gender and youth.
