ABOUT
Mehmet Güllüoğlu is a doctor, ambassador, and served as the General Director of the Turkish Red Crescent between 2013 and 2017.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Marmara University and successfully completed various training programs in Family Medicine, Humanitarian Health Aid, and European Union projects. He actively participated in numerous humanitarian aid initiatives within civil society organisations. From 2013 to 2017, he held the position of General Director of the Turkish Red Crescent. In 2017, he was appointed as the head of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority. On December 8, 2020, he took on the role of Ambassador of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.
