ABOUT
Maana Patel is a 22-year-old Indian Olympian representing India at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the 100 m backstroke. Since 2013, Maana has held the national records in 50m, 100m, 200m backstroke from 2013. She is originally from Ahmedabad but lives and trains in Bangalore, India. Swimming since the age of 7, Maana has won 76 gold, 25 silver and 21 bronze medals at the National level and 34 medals at the International level. She has represented India at various International tournaments such as the Olympics, Asian age championships, youth commonwealth games, Asian championships and South Asian Games.
