ABOUT
Asst. Prof. Bora Erdamar is the founder and director of the first university research and development centre in Turkiye for Blockchain Technology, BlockchainIST Center and the founding director of Bahçeşehir University Experimental Economics Lab. He is also the director of BAU Graduate Education Institute, Economics and Finance Graduate Programs, including the only FinTech Graduate Program in Turkiye. After completing his undergraduate education in the Department of Mathematics at Boğaziçi University, Erdamar received his PhD in Economics from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, with high honours in 2013. After working at Paris School of Economics, Moscow Higher School of Economics, University of Rochester and Columbia University for post-doctoral research in political economy and electoral systems for 3 years, he has been working at BAU for the last five years.
Research Interests: Blockchain Technology, Experimental Economics, Game Theory, Behavioral Finance and Political Economy.
