ABOUT
Faraja is a highly accomplished social entrepreneur dedicated to empowering children and women through innovative social and educational programs. She founded Shule Direct, an organisation offering digital educational platforms with comprehensive learning content aligned with the national curriculum. Additionally, she established Ndoto Hub, an exclusive startup innovation hub for women entrepreneurs in Tanzania. Faraja holds influential positions such as Chairperson for the Tanzania Education Network and the African representative on the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) Board. She actively contributes to teacher development in the Regional Educational Learning Initiative (RELI) for East Africa. Recognised globally, she is a Young Global Leader appointed by the World Economic Forum and serves on their Advisory Board. Faraja has received numerous awards, including Leading Woman in Technology in Africa and Tanzania Leadership Awards’ Hall of Fame Woman of the Year.
